Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our practice. You will manage the full patient experience from initial exam through treatment plan to delivery of care, including in-office services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

We offer flexibility with 2–5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, and compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
