Job summary

42 North Dental is hiring a Dentist to manage the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes high patient volumes, competitive compensation with up to 36% of collections, and access to exclusive continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and other CE events.

Qualifications

• Dentist must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
