Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role offers substantial earning potential and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Active state dental license is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and oral tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
