42 North Dental in Torrington, CT, is hiring for a general dentist to cover the entire patient experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role can be part-time or full-time with 2–5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, and compensation up to 36% of collections. Eligible candidates have a DDS/DMD, active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage shown.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, update, and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standards of care and ethics; pursue ongoing professional development.

Formation

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
