Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a general dentist for part-time or full-time work. You will manage the full patient journey from examination to treatment planning and delivery, including in-office procedures across periodontics, endodontics, surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Maintain patients' dental records and medical history.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Assist in surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
