Job summary

42North Dental in Bethlehem, CT is seeking a licensed Dentist to deliver comprehensive clinical care across specialties. You will lead the patient experience from exams and treatment planning to delivering high-quality care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS/DMD from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current state licensure, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
Active state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
