Job summary

42North Dental in Connecticut seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the full patient care experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care across in-house services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will educate patients, create treatment plans, maintain records, and participate in continuing education and mentorship within our network of doctors. The practice values ethics, professionalism, and ongoing innovation.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continue education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
