Job summary

42North Dental, based in Salisbury, CT, is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care journey from examination to treatment planning and delivery. You’ll work across in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within a supportive network of doctors.

Qualifications include a DDS/DMD, active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Competitive annual earnings and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and update medical/dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics in all patient interactions.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
