42 North Dental in Torrington, CT, seeks a General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment delivery. In-office specialists include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on comprehensive care and patient comfort.

The role offers part-time or full-time options, 2-5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, and continuing education

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and continuing education.
