Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist for either part-time or full-time. You will manage the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers up to 36% of collections, 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities through

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
