Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documentation required.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof required.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
