Job summary

Ibotta, Inc. is seeking an Associate Decision Scientist for a hybrid Denver role. You will analyze large behavioral and transactional data, partner with Product & Engineering to improve product design, and deliver clear dashboards for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 0–1+ years in analytics, a quantitative bachelor’s, strong SQL, and experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode) as well as Python/Spark/Hive/Airflow. Equity is included; relocation support is available for moving to Denver.

Qualifications

• 0–1+ years of experience in an analytical function
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics/mathematics/statistics/data science/computer science/economics or equivalent experience
• Proficient in SQL data wrangling, and analytical skills
• Experience with modern BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau)
• Experience using modern data analysis tools (Python, Spark, Hive, Airflow, etc.)
• Customer focused, collaborative, trustworthy, resourceful, and invested in self development
• Ability to think creatively and provide thoughtful insights
• Ability to develop, automate, visualize, analyze, and communicate learnings
• Ability to work collaboratively throughout an organization to drive towards common goals

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to analyze large amounts of behavioral and transaction data
• Work with Product & Engineering teams to make data driven decisions to improve product design and user experience
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide insightful reporting and dashboards
• Communicate analysis findings clearly and concisely
• Brainstorm new ways to leverage data for the product
