Job summary

Ibotta, Inc. is seeking an Associate Decision Scientist for a hybrid Denver role. You will analyze large behavioral and transactional data, partner with Product & Engineering to improve product design, and deliver clear dashboards for stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 0–1+ years in analytics, a quantitative bachelor’s, strong SQL, and experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode) as well as Python/Spark/Hive/Airflow. Equity is included; relocation support is available for moving to Denver.

Qualifications

• 0–1+ years of experience in an analytical function
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics/mathematics/statistics/data science/computer science/economics or equivalent experience
• Proficient in SQL data wrangling, and analytical skills
• Experience with modern BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau)
• Experience using modern data analysis tools (Python, Spark, Hive, Airflow, etc.)

Ibotta is seeking an Associate Decision Scientist to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As an Associate Decision Scientist, you will be responsible for providing actionable and data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals and understand the business in-depth, support and challenge strategic options, and build state-of-the‑art tools to drive value throughout our business.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

• Work cross-functionally to analyze large amounts of behavioral and transaction data

What we are looking for:

Additional Details:

• This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.

• Base compensation range: $69,000 - $80,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
