Job summary

Kaiser Permanente’s Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine seeks an Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation to lead data-driven assessment across the MD program and faculty development.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years as an educator and scholar with ability to advance an educational enterprise.
• Five years leading the assessment/evaluation function in a medical school or health professions program.
• Five years of managerial experience with direct supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of MD student assessment (formative, summative, course-based, programmatic).
• Develop assessment and evaluation strategies to improve performance and curricula.
• Collaborate with faculty and governance bodies to design and implement assessment of learning and teaching.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to standardize assessment across sites for clinical skills development.
• Oversee evaluation of curriculum and supervise staff in the Office of Assessment and Evaluation.
• Support integration of emerging technologies and data analytics into assessment processes.
