University of Central Florida is seeking an Associate Dean for Students and Associate Dean for Students to lead student affairs and boost medical student success. This senior educational leader reports to the SADME and shapes a supportive, student-centered learning environment for the MD program.

The role guides programs across pre-clinical and clinical phases, with emphasis on academic support, career advising, student well-being, and financial services.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD from an accredited institution; board certification required.
• ACGME-accredited residency completed for MD candidates.
• Tenure track candidates must be eligible for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student affairs functions including Admissions, Career Services, Counseling and Wellness, and Student Financial Services.
• Supervise Assistant Deans for Students and professional staff.
• Lead the four-year advising program and Careers Curriculum for medical students.
• Oversee MSPE processes for fourth-year students in alignment with AAMC guidelines.
• Plan major student events such as orientation and Match Day; ensure policy development meets standards.
• Ensure LCME accreditation readiness and lead continuous quality improvement for the student learning environment.
