Job summary

FASHIONPHILE is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to transform customer, order, product, and sales data into actionable insights. You will work with data scientists, engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to build ML models and AI tools that enhance engagement and conversions.

You will develop personalization, recommendations, segmentation, and time-series forecasting, while automating reports and dashboards in QuickSight. Strong communication with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or an analytical field with 2+ years in data analytics/science.
• Strong Python skills with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing structured data.
• Experience with AI tools and pipelines (Claude, Gemini).
• Knowledge of ML methods: regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, recommendation.
• Experience with EDA, feature engineering, model evaluation.
• Excellent problem solving and stakeholder management.
• Ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer behavior across the e-commerce journey to drive engagement and conversions.
• Develop statistical and ML models for personalization, recommendations, segmentation, forecasting.
• Build and maintain AI pipelines and LLM-powered tools; validate outputs.
• Automate reports and dashboards in Amazon QuickSight to track KPIs.
• Collaborate with data engineers to extract and prepare large datasets.
• Run causal analyses to measure impact of site changes and personalization.
• Partner with Merchandising, Operations, Sales and CX for ad hoc analyses.
• Present findings to leadership clearly and concisely.
