Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to drive algorithmic decision-making at scale within Group Digital. The role focuses on developing and deploying ML models and modern AI techniques to enhance personalization and automation in digital products.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and ETL processes. Ideal candidates have retail/personalization experience and familiarity with LLMs, agentic AI,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks.
• Experience with MLOps tools for deployment and monitoring.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and scalable data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and experimental design (A/B Testing).
• Experience with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Master’s or above degree in CS/Math/Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize predictive and prescriptive models to extract insights and enhance decision-making.
• Apply deep learning and neural networks for classification, profiling, and personalization.
• Utilize MLOps to deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production.
• Implement and fine-tune LLMs and Agentic solutions for automation and user engagement.
• Design, build and deploy AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, and completing multi-step workflows.
• Integrate agents with enterprise systems using secure tool-calling patterns and MCP.
