Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Associate Counsel for its Legal Shared Services Team to support Trading & Markets and restructuring matters. You will review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, LSTA loan trading docs, and transfer provisions in credit agreements, while guiding internal stakeholders.

You will serve as a primary contact for associates in other jurisdictions, ensuring timely execution and practical guidance in a high-volume environment, with exposure to cross-border coordination.

Qualifications

• J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate NDAs, LSTA secondary loan trading documentation, and credit agreement provisions.
• Coordinate with associate lawyers across jurisdictions to align on approach and timelines.
• Advise business teams on transactional documentation issues and practical resolutions.
• Drive decision-making, manage multiple priorities, and escalate issues when needed.
