Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate Counsel in the Legal Shared Services Team to support Trading & Markets and restructuring-related matters. You will draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, LSTA loan trading docs, and provisions in credit agreements.

You will coordinate across jurisdictions, provide clear guidance, and help deliver high-quality work under tight timeframes. You will interact with internal stakeholders, including business and support teams, and contribute to a high-volume

Qualifications

J.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
3+ years of transactional legal experience in Trading & Markets and/or restructuring.
Experience reviewing and negotiating complex agreements and advising on legal risks.
NDAs drafting/negotiation in transactional settings.
Familiarity with secondary loan trading documentation and LSTA-style docs.
Experience interpreting credit agreements and transfer/assignment mechanics.

Responsibilities

Review corporate documents and agreements, including lock-up agreements and transfer provisions.
Draft and negotiate NDAs.
Draft and negotiate LSTA secondary loan trading documentation and terms.
Coordinate with associate lawyers in other jurisdictions on approach and timelines.
Advise business and support partners on transactional documentation issues.
