Job summary

Hackman Capital Partners, LLC seeks an Associate Counsel with 2+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional experience to join its Legal Department in Culver City. The role handles leasing, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and other real estate matters across a global portfolio.

The ideal candidate will provide practical legal advice, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and coordinate with outside counsel while supporting governance, compliance and enterprise risk

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from a top-tier law school.
• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California.
• At least 2 years of legal experience in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience in leasing, acquisitions, financings and joint ventures.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a broad range of documents including leases, licenses, sale agreements and loan documents.
• Advise on real estate, corporate, employment, and regulatory matters, and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Conduct legal research and provide business-oriented advice to internal teams.
• Oversee governance matters, litigation coordination, and risk management.
• Support document management, contract lifecycle, and compliance initiatives within the Legal Department.
