Job summary

CPI Card Group is seeking an Associate Counsel to join its Legal and Compliance Department in Littleton, CO. The successful candidate will handle complex commercial contracts, compliance, and risk management, with a focus on payments industry matters.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, licenses, and advising leadership on product development and IP strategy. Remote flexibility is available; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must have JD from a top-tier law school and be licensed to practice law; preferably in Colorado.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive transactional experience; in-house experience preferred.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements.
• Draft and negotiate technology licenses.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to business leaders on product development and IP in the payments industry.

Education

Juris Doctorate (Top-tier law school)

Colorado Bar Admission (preferred)
