Job summary

Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual and media technology, is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts. This remote-based role delivers timely legal counsel to sales and operations, handling complex commercial transactions and a range of legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on IP, data protection, and compliance, and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve disputes and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Requires JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in one or more US states in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate/commercial transactions.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of intellectual property, data protection, and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate domestic and international product, service, vendor, and strategic relationship agreements.
• Provide guidance on IP, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across sales, operations, purchasing, finance and other departments to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
• Maintain licenses, registrations, and ensure compliance; track renewals.
• Support governance policies, authorities, and related responsibilities.
