Job summary

AMC Global Media seeks an Associate Counsel in New York, NY to support Production, Creative, Finance, Insurance and HR matters. The role involves reviewing rights, copyright, trademark and defamation issues, and guiding litigation strategy.

Ideal candidates hold a NY Bar in good standing, a JD from an accredited school, and at least two years of litigation-focused experience, preferably with in-house media experience. Hybrid work options available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing day-to-day legal counsel to Production, Creative, Finance, Insurance and HR.
• Review contracts and advise on rights, copyright, trademark, and defamation risks.
• Help manage AMC’s litigation docket and develop litigation strategy.
• Draft and negotiate production-related agreements with Studio teams.
