Job summary

The Wright Center for Community Health and Graduate Medical Education is seeking an Associate Counsel to coordinate non-clinical compliance and risk management. You will work closely with senior leadership to oversee HIPAA privacy and security programs and to train staff and contractors on regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a J.D. and PA Bar, with 2–7 years of healthcare law experience and familiarity with the EOS model.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree required.
Member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
Experience with EOS model is preferred.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience; 5-7 years preferred.
Healthcare law experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate non-clinical compliance and risk management for WCGME and TWCCH.
Oversee HIPAA Privacy and Security Compliance.
Lead required staff and contractor trainings on compliance topics.
Support litigation matters with In-House Counsel and General Counsel.
Promote culture of accountability and high integrity across the organization.
Monitor and report progress of safe events and quality initiatives.
Ensure PHI access requests are handled lawfully and securely.
Develop and implement policy and training for staff handling patient information.
