Job summary

Talently in Beachwood, OH seeks an Associate Counsel & Director of Compliance to lead the organization’s compliance program and partner with the Chief Legal Officer. Focus on HIPAA, healthcare regulations, privacy, and risk management to strengthen processes and accountability.

You will advise senior leadership, oversee investigations, and drive corrective actions across the enterprise with a focus on cultivating ethical conduct and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years in legal and/or healthcare compliance roles.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, fraud and abuse laws, and reimbursement/coding risk.
• Experience leading investigations and corrective-action plans.
• Strong research, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the organization’s compliance program, setting priorities and driving execution.
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory and operational matters and translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
• Oversee investigations, risk reporting, and remediation efforts with escalation as needed.
• Drive auditing and monitoring programs to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop and deliver compliance education and foster an ethical culture.
