Job summary

The Wright Center seeks an Associate Counsel to coordinate all non-clinical compliance and risk management activities for WCGME and TWCCH, reporting to the SVP Enterprise Integrity and Chief Legal & Governance Officer.

Responsibilities include developing remediation for compliance gaps, overseeing mandatory trainings (HIPAA/HITECH/OSHA), and ensuring lawful handling of protected health information, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required; 5-7 years preferred.
• HIPAA Privacy Certification preferred.
• Compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate non-clinical compliance, insurance and risk management oversight for WCGME and TWCCH.
• Develop solutions and lead remediation of compliance gaps to completion.
• Oversee staff training on HIPAA, HITECH, OSHA and other focus areas.
• Ensure external reporting when required and support litigation matters.
• Oversee SAFE Reporting system investigations and learning dissemination.
