Job summary

Amazon Legal is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support the ASCS group, a fast-growing segment within Amazon. You will counsel cross‑functional teams on commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters, draft and negotiate transactions, and provide business-focused risk guidance to enable speed and growth.

This role sits within Amazon's ASCS legal team, embedded in Amazon Legal, collaborating closely with business leaders in logistics and commerce.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to a state bar.
• 3+ years of post-bar legal experience.
• Experience at a mix of corporate law firm and in-house roles.
• Experience counseling on supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment in a tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Counsel marketing, sales, and business development on commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial transactions.
• Provide day-to-day input on business strategy and resolve issues in commercial relationships.
• Develop strategies to address risk with scalable processes for fast business decisions.
