Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to assist in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing environments. The role emphasizes working with established processes to complete basic projects and solve problems of limited scope.

The position supports control system evaluations, safety-compliant testing, and collaboration with engineering teams to review layouts and supplier components.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma.
• Previous controls or electrical experience required.
• Availability to work across 3 shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in evaluating control systems, products, components, and applications.
• Assists in evaluating new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
• Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
• Assists in the review of layout and electrical drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
• Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
• Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
• Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
• Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
• All other duties as assigned.
