Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Controls Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment across CNC mills, lathes, and presses. You will assist with design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems, and work with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, 24 VDC to 480 VAC, using meters, oscilloscopes and other test gear.

You'll read blueprints, repair down equipment, support projects, and collaborate with Engineering to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair down equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.
• Learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software for adjustments.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery/adjustments.
• Understand hydraulics and pneumatics to support systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment across CNC mills, lathes, shapers and presses.
• Assist with design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.
• Work with engineering to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
• Read blueprints and schematics to support maintenance and project work.
• Drive forklift to move parts and equipment as needed.
