Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to design and program building automation systems tailored to each customer. You will work in a team, solving problems, managing time, and advancing skills while handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities include developing interface software, testing programs, and providing technical support. This role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree or a related 2+ year HVAC/BMS background with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree required.
• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years HVAC/BMS experience acceptable.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems and site-specific control configurations.
• Adhere to project requirements and standards for design, programming and implementation.
• Create clear design documents with technical information for project teams.
• Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation.
• Provide technical support to sales to ensure customer needs are met.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
• Support functional testing for building systems.
