Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking an Associate Consultant in our Professional Services team within the Financial Crimes Compliance domain. You will design business process architectures in the ERP ecosystem, translate complex requirements into practical system designs, and support integration across modules.

This is not a software dev role; you’ll work with minimal guidance and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting business analysis, process analysis, consulting, project delivery, or related work.
  • Ability to gather and express business requirements clearly and succinctly.
  • Experience analyzing current and future states, performing gap analysis, and contributing to change strategies or implementation plans.
  • Ability to plan and manage small projects or work assignments within cost, time, and quality expectations.
  • Proficiency in data collection, research, information retrieval, and analysis to identify trends and develop recommendations.
  • Comfort working with technology and enterprise systems without needing to be a software developer or deeply technical specialist.
  • Experience or capability related to artificial intelligence and business analytics.
  • Strong questioning, verbal communication, stakeholder management, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Ability to review complex materials, pursue needed information, and bring clear findings back to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workflow analysis, and other appropriate methods.
  • Support the documentation of current-state and future-state processes, perform gap analysis, and identify changes required to move to the future-state capability.
  • Identify and communicate solution recommendations for well-understood business needs at the business-unit level.
  • Provide information and guidance on complex processes and related policies, referring interpretation questions when appropriate.
  • Contribute to consulting project and program design by researching information, analyzing data, and identifying key themes.
  • Execute assigned elements of digital transformation road maps using agile and design-thinking principles.
  • Support technical troubleshooting and quality assurance by helping identify issues, performing defined tests, interpreting results, and identifying remedial actions.
  • Develop clear training materials, documentation, reports, and presentation content for review by senior colleagues.
  • Plan and deliver small projects or workstreams, including schedules, risks, issues, stakeholder expectations, and intended outcomes.
  • Support change initiatives by providing analysis, monitoring progress, and contributing to implementation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collect, validate, and combine information from relevant sources to support sound conclusions and recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing learning.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

About Our Team

Our Professional Services organization operates within LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) business, partnering closely with Project Management, Product, Sales, and Account Management teams to deliver complex software implementations that help customers address Anti‑Money Laundering, Counter‑Terrorist Financing, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance challenges. We work in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment focused on strong governance, clear communication, and disciplined execution. Our team is dedicated to translating sophisticated risk and compliance solutions into successful customer outcomes, ensuring implementations are delivered with confidence, efficiency, and measurable impact.

About the Role

As an Associate Consultant, you will support the end-to-end design of business process architectures within the ERP ecosystem. You will help translate complex business requirements into practical system designs, support integration across functional modules, and advise on standard versus custom approaches, with a preference for scalable out-of-the-box functionality. This is not a software development role. You will work with minimal guidance, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with team members while independently pursuing and synthesizing information.

Base Pay Range

Primary Location Base Pay Range: New York, NY $94,700 - $157,500. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Base Pay Range for CO is $78,800 - $131,300. Base Pay Range for IL is $82,800 - $137,800. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $86,700 - $144,400. Base Pay Range for MD is $82,800 - $137,800. Base Pay Range for NY is $86,700 - $144,400. Base Pay Range for New York City is $94,700 - $157,500. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $78,800 - $131,300. Base Pay Range for OH is $74,900 - $124,700. Base Pay Range for NJ is $93,016- $148,584. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
