Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Cost Analyst to support project controls in Houston TX (or Arlington, VA) with occasional travel to Cameron, LA and New Orleans, LA. You will oversee cost forecasts, budgets and variance analyses to ensure cost effectiveness and timely project delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in cost on Oil & Gas projects, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with EcoSys/Power BI. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Project Controls – OFE and work within

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost experience in major Oil & Gas Engineering and Construction projects.
• Experience with LNG liquefaction or Combined Cycle Power Generation projects preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines as priorities shift.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office; EcoSys and Power BI preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to summarize and prioritize information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

We are seeking a Cost Analyst to be based in Houston TX or Arlington, VA, with some travel to Cameron, LA and New Orleans, LA.

Position Overview

The Cost Analyst will provide oversight to project activities and is responsible for achieving safe, cost effective, timely and contractually compliant project results. The role will also require effective communication to Project and Executive Management for timely decision making and incorporation of stakeholder input. The Cost Analyst will report to the Director, Project Controls – OFE.

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant cost experience in major Oil & Gas Engineering and Construction projects
• Experience with LNG Liquefaction or Combined Cycle Power Generation projects preferred

• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have advanced computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, experience with EcoSys and Power BI preferred
