Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for an Associate Computer Operations Analyst – Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) (24-288) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight.
The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
Essential Functions:
Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks.
Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests & real-world events.
Assist in all hardware/software installations directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
Operate and sustain the C2BMC mission systems and training systems environment for operational and training missions.
Support training systems by operating the Distributed Training System (DTS) Control Center (DCC) as necessary to train, qualify, certify, and maintain Warfighter proficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Specialized Training, or a related field; 4 years experience in lieu of a degree.
Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
Rotating 24x7 shift work; some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required.
Experience operating and maintaining large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
Experience in system and network administration (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper).
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired.
Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems.

Salary Range: $59,600 - $89,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
