Job summary

Optimum Community Management, LLC. is seeking an Associate Manager to assist the Director of Community Management in day-to-day oversight of a portfolio of community associations.

You will attend evening board meetings, transcribe minutes, prepare reports, review payables, inspect properties, and coordinate proposals. A CMCA certification is encouraged, with growth opportunities in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree preferable but not required.
  • Property management experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year customer service experience, 2 or more years preferred.
  • Attention to detail and organization is key.
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to navigate challenging situations.
  • Type a minimum of 40 WPM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Attend evening board meetings.
  • Transcribe minutes and action list.
  • Complete action items.
  • Assist with preparation of Directors Reports.
  • Review and code payables.
  • Return phone calls and respond to emails.
  • Conduct property inspections.
  • Transcribe inspection reports.
  • Solicit & review proposals/contracts.
  • Prepare bid comparisons.
  • Check in with supervisor daily to advise of any issues or concerns.
  • Obtain CMCA certification.

Summary of Job

The Associate Manager will report to their assigned Director of Community Management and be responsible for assisting the Director with the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a portfolio of community associations.
