Job summary

GCP, Saint-Gobain construction chemicals group, seeks an Associate Commercial Territory Manager to support growth in the Southern region by partnering with contractors, applicators, engineers, and distributors to identify opportunities in leak sealing, waterproofing, soil stabilization, and concrete repair.

This early-career role offers hands-on learning, field exposure, and mentorship from senior sales and technical leaders as you develop territory management skills and build lasting customer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or four years of equivalent training and experience providing construction knowledge.
  • 1+ years of applied professional experience in customer-facing roles such as sales or relationship management.
  • Interest in commercial sales, construction, infrastructure, concrete repair, waterproofing, or specialty building products.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, organization, follow-up, and customer-service skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of independence, self-motivation, and ability to manage priorities in a territory-based role.
  • Valid driver’s license, MVR background check, and willingness to travel in the Southern region.

Responsibilities

  • Supports commercial territory growth by partnering with sales, technical service, distributors, and applicators to identify project opportunities in the Southern region.
  • Develops understanding of the DE NEEF portfolio, including injection grouts, leak sealing, waterproofing, and related construction chemical solutions.
  • Assists with customer visits, project tracking, territory planning, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities to support sales.
  • Builds relationships with contractors, applicators, distributors, engineers, owners, and other stakeholders through communication and follow-through.
  • Maintains accurate customer, opportunity, and project data in company tools for territory visibility and pipeline management.
  • Coordinates with internal partners to provide customers with product information, resources, pricing support, and basic project follow-up.
  • Participates in training, trade events, customer meetings, and educational sessions to build knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Travels throughout the Southern territory to support meetings, project activity, and field learning opportunities.

Is this job for you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in building science, architecture, engineering, business, or a similar discipline preferred; or four years of equivalent training and experience that provides knowledge of construction practices, laws, and regulations in lieu of a degree
  • 1+ years of applied professional experience, including customer relationship management, sales, consultative selling, or a related customer-facing role
  • Interest in commercial sales, construction, infrastructure, concrete repair, waterproofing, or specialty building products
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport, network effectively, and build quality relationships with customers, field teams, and internal partners
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, organization, follow-up, and customer-service skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of independence, self-motivation, and comfort managing priorities in a territory-based role
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to successfully pass an MVR background check, and willingness to travel within the Southern region to visit active construction or repair project sites as needed

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for our Sales Incentive Plan. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary (max opportunity 175%) based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and bonus) for this position, is $105,950 to $164,450. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
