AM50 Law Firm in New York seeks a CLO Associate to join its Structured Finance team. This role offers exposure to high‑quality CLO transactions, along with a collegial, fast‑paced environment and strong training opportunities.

Job Title: Structured Finance Associate (CLO)

Location: NYC

Salary: $235K-$435K + annual discretionary bonus + competitive benefits

Our client, a prestigious AM50 law firm, is looking to add a CLO Associate to its Structured Finance team in New York.

The team is a market leader in CLOs, particularly middle-market and broadly syndicated loan CLOs, and is known for advising on some of the industry’s most innovative and complex transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate who wants high-quality deal flow and hands-on structuring experience within a collaborative, collegial group.

The firm is looking for attorneys with 2-8 years of structured finance experience (Class of 2018-2024), with significant exposure to CLOs and/or middle-market leveraged loans.

The Opportunity

The group regularly advises arrangers, managers, investors and issuers on every stage of the CLO lifecycle, from structuring and execution to regulatory compliance. It also has deep experience in middle-market leveraged loan transactions, giving associates broad exposure across the market.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple transactions at once.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Advise on the structuring, execution and closing of CLO transactions, with a focus on middle-market leveraged loans
• Work closely with arrangers, managers, investors and issuers on deal documentation and regulatory matters
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a team-oriented environment

What They’re Looking For:

• 2-8 years of structured finance experience (Class of 2018-2024)
• Significant exposure to CLOs and/or middle-market leveraged loans
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines
• Highly motivated, with superior client service skills
• Member of the Bar in a U.S. state, meeting any requirements of the New York office’s jurisdiction
