Our client, a leading global hedge fund, seeks an Associate, CLO Compliance in New York to oversee reconciliations, CLO reporting, and audit support within a fast-paced finance environment.

The role requires deep knowledge of fixed income, CLOs, and portfolio systems. You will collaborate with custodians, prime brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate trade processing and regulatory readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial services, with focus on alternative asset management and compliance.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products including bonds and floating bank loans.
• Experience generating CLO reports and reconciling trustee reports.
• Familiarity with Private Credit Structured Products.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook with advanced analytical skills.
• Knowledge of operations and accounting systems; Security Master preferred.
• Experience with Aladdin, VPM, S&P MarkitWSO, Symbeo or Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily interactions with internal and external groups to resolve booking and position discrepancies.
• Supervise processing of coupon, interest, principal, and corporate actions on underlying portfolio positions.
• Ensure accurate entry of trades and securities into portfolio management systems such as OMS SkyRoad, VPM, Geneva, Symbeo, and WSO.
• Coordinate with custodians and prime brokers to ensure proper trading activity and settlement.
• Enhance data via Security Master classifications for investments and credits.
• Manage CLO audit queries for internal audits, external CLO audits, and regulatory reports.
• Communicate periodic distributions for CLO manager originator and risk retention investments.
• Lead/ad-hoc special projects as requested by portfolio managers and other groups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties and service providers.

• Oversee the reconciliation of cash and positions between internal systems and Trustees/Custodians.
• Lead daily interactions with internal and external groups to resolve booking and position discrepancies.
• Supervise the processing of coupon, interest, principal, and corporate action activities on underlying portfolio positions.
• Ensure accurate entry of trades and securities into portfolio management systems such as OMS SkyRoad, VPM, Geneva, Symbeo, and Wall Street Office (WSO).
• Coordinate with firm custodians and prime brokers to ensure proper trading activity and settlement.
• Enhance data regarding investments and credits through Security Master classifications.
• Manage CLO audit queries for internal audits, external CLO audits, and regulatory reports.
• Communicate periodic distributions for CLO manager originator and risk retention investments.
• Lead and participate in ad-hoc special projects as requested by portfolio managers and other internal groups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, corporate service providers, trustees, and administrators.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on alternative asset management and compliance.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products, including bonds and floating bank loans.
• Demonstrated experience in generating reports for Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and reconciling trustee reports.
• Familiarity with Private Credit Structured Products.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of various operations and accounting-related systems; experience using a Security Master is preferred.
• Experience with Aladdin, VPM accounting system, S&P-MarkitWSO, Symbeo, or Bloomberg is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
