Job summary

NIQ is seeking an Associate Client Manager in White Plains, NY, to join the Industry Insights team. Hybrid role requiring onsite 2-3 days weekly, delivering client-ready insights and storytelling using NIQ data across industries and consumers.

You will lead analytics projects, coach junior staff, and drive revenue opportunities while ensuring exceptional client service and adherence to NIQ standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years industry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, market research.
  • Prior experience with NIQ solutions preferred in the analytics space, including POS/Panel Data.
  • Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating NIQ data sources relevant to the client (e.g. RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra).
  • Ability to coach others in data analyses and working with NIQ tools.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers analysis and insights to inform client business decisions.
  • Transforms client questions into actionable insights using NIQ data and tools.
  • Presents insights and recommendations with clear storytelling (SCQA/AP).
  • Drives customer satisfaction and generates revenue leads with AD.
  • Collaborates with CS consultants to enhance the client experience.
  • Leads junior team members and coaches peers.
  • Champions initiatives within the business unit and delivers KPI performance.

This is a hybrid role and requires being onsite 2-3 days a week in White Plains, NY

As an Associate Client Manager,you'llbe part of a team of experienced industry insights experts with the main goal to delight clients; supporting them for informed business decisions through delivery of analysis and insights on industries, markets and consumers using NIQ data with NIQ tools, following NIQ standards.You'llalsobe responsible forstrong execution of the Service Model as well as guiding and coaching more junior members.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a master of propriety NIQtools and metrics and use these to help solve clients' business questions.
  • Work closely with the CS Consultants to transform customer experience.
  • During briefing sessions, independently respond to field business questions and develop analytical outlinesthatleveragemultiple NIQ solutions into a cohesivestory.
  • Simplify/visualize data and translate numbers into a compelling story for clientswith insightful callouts and actionablerecommendations.
  • Prepare and present insights/recommendations as per Academy Silver graduatelevel;i.e.always using SCQA and AP efficiently.
  • Drive customer satisfaction throughanalysesand delivery of relevant and impactful insights.
  • Lead generation:Identifyrevenue leads in an independent way and takeownershipin partnering with AD to convert these intorevenue opportunities.
  • Execute strongly based on the service model.
  • Take initiative to remove roadblocks when theyarise.
  • Lead by example, guide and coach juniormembers.
  • Champion an initiative withinbusinessunit and provide guidanceto peers in that specific area, also accountable for delivering as per the KPIonthis area.
  • Lead Thought Leadership Projects.
  • Client briefing: In-market: Ensure client briefing is received as per the briefing form with all areas filled. Ask questions toclientto probe and understand the real issue. Guides and supportsjunioron the same. Hub: Ensure briefingdocument isreceived from the in-market with all areas complete. Ask in-market teams for clarity. Guides and supports juniors to do the same.

  • 3+yearsindustry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, marketresearch.
  • Prior experience with NIQ (or similar) solutions preferred in the analytics space, including POS/Panel Data.
  • Proficiencyin pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all NIQ data sources that are relevant to the client –i.e.RMS,Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.
  • ProficiencyinutilizingDiscover and helping diminish/eliminateclient concerns and roadblocksin order todrive usage.
  • Ability to coach others in dataanalysesandworkingwith NIQ tools.
  • Curious person who likes building stories based on data to answer questions.
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Digital savvy and fast learner of concepts/tools/analyses.
  • Masters’s degreea plus.

This role has amarket-competitivesalary withan anticipatedbase compensation of the following range:$80,300- $84,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
