Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Client Manager in Corona, CA to join the Industry Insights team. You will deliver analyses and insights, using NIQ data and tools to answer client questions and craft compelling stories.

In this hybrid role, you will coach junior team members, guide service-model execution, and drive customer satisfaction while identifying revenue opportunities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years industry experience in CPG and/or related sales, category management, or market research.
  • Prior experience with NIQ or similar analytics solutions including POS/Panel Data.
  • Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and combining NIQ data sources relevant to clients (RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra).
  • Ability to coach others in data analyses and NIQ tools.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a master of NIQ tools and metrics to solve client business questions.
  • Collaborate with Insights Teams and Account Development to transform customer experience.
  • Develop analytical outlines during briefings and tell cohesive stories using multiple NIQ solutions.
  • Visualize data and translate numbers into actionable client recommendations.
  • Lead generation: identify revenue leads and partner with AD to convert to revenue.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations with SCQA and AP in client briefings.

This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite at the client's office in Corona, CA,three or more days per week.

Job Description

As a Client Manager, you'll be part of a team of experienced industry insights experts with the main goal to delight clients; supporting them for informed business decisions through delivery of analysis and insights on industries, markets and consumersusing NIQ data withNIQ tools, following NIQ standards.You'llalsobe responsible forstrong execution of the Service Model as well as guiding and coaching more junior members.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as a master of propriety NIQtools and metrics and use these to help solve clients' business questions.
  • Work closely with theInsights Teams and Account Developmentto transform customer experience.
  • During briefing sessions, independently respond to field business questions and develop analytical outlinesthatleveragemultiple NIQ solutions into a cohesivestory.
  • Simplify/visualize data and translate numbers into a compelling story for clientswith insightful callouts and actionablerecommendations.
  • Prepare and present insights/recommendations as per Academy Silver graduate level;i.e.always using SCQA and AP efficiently.
  • Drive customer satisfaction throughanalysesand delivery of relevant and impactful insights.
  • Lead generation:Identifyrevenue leads in an independent way and takeownershipin partnering with AD to convert these intorevenue opportunities.
  • Execute strongly based on the service model.
  • Take the initiative to remove roadblocks when theyarise.
  • Lead by example, guide and coach juniormembers.
  • Champion an initiative within the business unit and provide guidanceto peers in that specific area, also accountable for delivering as per the KPI on this area.
  • Lead Thought Leadership Projects.
  • Client briefing: Ensure client briefing is received as per the briefing form with all areas filled. Ask questions toclientto probe and understand the real issue. Guides and supportsjunioron the same.

Qualifications
  • 5+yearsindustry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, marketresearch.
  • Prior experience with NIQ (or similar) solutions preferred in the analytics space, including POS/Panel Data.
  • Proficiencyin pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all NIQ data sources that are relevant to the client -i.e.RMS,Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.
  • ProficiencyinutilizingDiscover and helping diminish/eliminateclient concerns and roadblocks to drive usage.
  • Ability to coach others in dataanalysesandworkingwith NIQ tools.
  • Curious person who likes building stories based on data to answer questions.
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Digital savvy and fast learner of concepts/tools/analyses.
  • Masters's degreea plus.
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary withan anticipatedbase compensation of the following range: $83,7000- $105,000.Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
