Job summary

Truist is seeking a data-focused professional in Nashville to research business unit data problems and provide recommendations. You will actively resolve day-to-day needs of the business unit with a focus on systems, processes and quality, reviewing process maps and guides with team support.

The role emphasizes maintaining data integrity, governance participation, and collaborating on policy changes while ensuring timely task delivery to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years in financial services.
• Experience with data quality and governance processes.
• Familiarity with client information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve data quality issues; actively participate in data governance to ensure high quality data.
• Recommend changes to policies, procedures and processing flows while supporting platforms and interfacing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with corporate and platform policies to assess recurring problems.
• Assist with system implementation and training due to changes; identify internal efficiencies and enhancements.
• Analyze information and make decisions within guidelines to solve problems; assist in research and resolution.

Research business unit data problems and provide recommendations of solutions. Actively resolve day-to-day needs of the business unit with a focus on the systems, processes and quality. Research a range of process maps and written documents including user guides and manuals, and training materials, with support from team leads as needed. Ensure all assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner in order to meet processing schedules and service level agreements, while maintaining system integrity.

• Identifies and resolves data quality issues; actively participate in data governance processes to ensure the highest quality data is maintained and available.
• Recommend to team lead and management changes to policies, procedures and processing flows, while maintaining a working knowledge to support the platforms and interfacing applications.
• Stays up-to-date with corporate and platform operating policies and procedures in order to understand and assess the impact of recurring problems.
• Assists with system implementation and training that becomes necessary as a result of system or policy changes. Identifies internal efficiencies and system enhancements.
• Analyzes basic information and makes decisions within guidelines or standard practices to solve problems. Assists in research and problem resolution.
