City of Detroit's Department of Public Works is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer Design to prepare civil engineering designs and specifications for major municipal projects. Under general supervision, you will analyze scope, review field data, develop solutions, and manage construction plans.

You will ensure conformance with plans, budgets, codes, and standards; supervise staff and inspectors; and mentor engineers. Registration as a Michigan professional engineer is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Registration as a professional engineer in Michigan required.
• Three years of experience designing and preparing specifications for civil engineering projects.
