Job summary

City of Ann Arbor is seeking a Civil Design Engineer for municipal engineering work on capital improvement projects including water mains, sewers, storm drainage, and roads. You will prepare plans, contract specs, and related documents under supervision.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Civil Eng, FE certification, and at least three years of experience. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 with benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of water mains, sanitary sewers, storm drainage and roads.
• Prepare engineering plans, contract specifications and related documents for capital improvement projects.
• Work under supervision of a supervisor on municipal civil engineering assignments.
