Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) - Associate Civil Engineer Positions

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for multiple Associate Civil Engineer positions. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

• May 19, 2025
• June 5, 2025

Associate Civil Engineers are responsible for a variety of civil engineering tasks related to the design, surveying, testing of materials, and construction of public works projects. These projects include, but are not limited to, drainage, water and wastewater collection, distribution, treatment, new building construction, remodels, and other structures for SacSewer.

This is the entry level in the civil engineering series requiring registration as a civil engineer. Under supervision, an Associate Civil Engineer performs complex engineering work and may supervise a small team of engineers and paraprofessionals. They may serve as project or resident engineers on major or multiple minor projects.

Current registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required.
