Position Details

Supervision

Supervised by a senior engineer or division head. May include supervision of lower-level staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and assist in preparing plans and specifications for public works projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of

Experience & Education

• One year of civil engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or

• For Associate level: Two years of experience equivalent to Assistant Civil Engineer and a Professional Engineer license in California.
• Proof of education and certification required at the time of appointment.
