Job summary
The Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh / UPMC invites applications for Associate Chief of Clinical Affairs to shape a multi-setting clinical enterprise serving older adults from acute care to community settings.
Lead inpatient and outpatient geriatric services, champion GUIDE and HELP programs, grow the ACGME-accredited fellowship, and drive quality, safety, and value-based care across the UPMC network with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- MD and Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine.
- Record of clinical excellence and leadership.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in program development, quality improvement and mentorship is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and integrate clinical operations across inpatient and outpatient geriatric services and post-acute care partnerships.
- Champion dementia care initiatives and coordinate with CMS innovation programs.
- Provide strategic oversight of delirium prevention and elder care programs.
- Mentor the geriatric fellowship and sustain scholarly activity alongside clinical leadership.
- Drive quality, safety, and value-based care across the network.
- Build interdisciplinary teams and shape the future of older adult healthcare.
