Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh/UPMC seeks an Associate Chief of Clinical Affairs in the Division of Geriatric Medicine to lead clinical operations across inpatient and outpatient geriatric services in the UPMC network. You will champion the GUIDE Model for dementia care and oversee HELP to prevent delirium and decline in hospitalized older adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate clinical operations across inpatient and outpatient geriatric services within the UPMC network.
• Champion the GUIDE Model (dementia care) to support patients and caregivers at home and in the community.
• Provide strategic oversight of the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) to prevent delirium and decline.
• Collaborate with Division Chief and Fellowship Director to sustain the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and value-based care initiatives across sites.
• Build interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient- and family-centered care.
• Shape the future of older adult healthcare for generations to come.
