URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Associate Buyer to support Private Label Woven Shirts and Jackets. You will build trend-right assortments, drive sales, and manage profitability through strategic product development and execution.

The role emphasizes identifying growth opportunities and curating balanced assortments that align with financial goals. Responsibilities include ongoing analysis of sales and stock, open-to-buy management, and collaboration with design, planning, and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or related field.
• 3 years in retail or direct buying office having served as an Associate Buyer or Senior Level Assistant buyer.
• Experience with Open-To-Buy (OTB) and merchandising analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand target customer and select appropriate product/trend to meet expectations.
• Translate new ideas from blogs and sources with design partnerships.
• Manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) and retail math to achieve bottom-line performance.
• Communicate effectively with stores and cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize tasks to balance immediate and long-term needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
• Analyze weekly/monthly sales, stock, and on-order to optimize sales and minimize markdowns.
• Revise plans with Buyer/Planner to optimize sales and margins by class.
• Manage receipt plans and timely order placement to ensure flow.
