Job summary

Acosta is seeking an Associate Business Manager to support Kroger Fresh by managing contracts, orders, transportation and deductions, while collaborating with Kroger, clients, and internal Acosta teams. A strong focus on root-cause analysis and proactive problem-solving will help prevent issues.

The ABM will also provide dedicated client administration, including paperwork and forms, working within client systems and handling EDI support.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of Kroger processes, systems or ways of working preferred.
• Experience with DemandTec or customer contract/promotion systems preferred.
• Experience working with EDI or electronic order processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kroger contract creation and maintenance, including work within DemandTec and other customer platforms.
• Complete customer forms, price changes, item maintenance, and Kroger-facing documentation.
• Develop understanding of Kroger processes, systems, requirements, and timelines.
• Partner with Business Managers to support promotional planning and execution.
• Serve as day-to-day contact with Kroger Backhaul, client teams, and internal partners.
• Coordinate truck scheduling and address late trucks and transportation issues.
• Manage PO adjustments, order discrepancies, pricing questions, and related issues.
• Proactively identify recurring issues and propose preventive solutions.
• Provide dedicated administrative support for assigned client and ensure timely submissions.
• Maintain client proprietary systems and provide EDI support as needed.
