Job Title: Associate Broker

The Associate Broker will oversee a portfolio of clients through relationship building and client account development. This position is based in our Roseville, CA office, with a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 annually. Responsibilities include handling service requests, identifying potential risk issues, quoting additional coverages and policies, and tracking renewals.

Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous P&C wholesale insurance experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and agency management software.
• Knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage, products, markets, rating, and underwriting procedures is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and client relation skills, with the ability to produce effective, accurate verbal and written communication, active listening, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, applying knowledge and experience to achieve results.
• Capability to follow and develop processes and procedures to improve agency efficiency.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage client service needs including endorsement requests, proofs of insurance, cancellation requests, inspection questions, client/carrier correspondence, coverage analysis, and claim reporting.
• Interact with clients via in person, telephone, or email to discuss needs, ensure satisfaction, respond to inquiries, solicit sales, and resolve problems.
• Process renewals and remarket accounts for renewal marketing following agency procedures.
• Provide quotes for additional lines of business as needed.
• Handle all account transactions accurately and timely, following agency procedures.
• Follow credit and collection procedures for invoicing and payments.
• Manage cancellation processes in accordance with agency standards.
