Jewish Family Home Care, Inc. in Davie, FL is seeking an Associate Director of Billing to oversee daily billing operations for home care services and ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

This role works with the Controller and multiple departments to optimize revenue. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of healthcare billing experience, proficiency with WellSky Personal Care or similar software, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years billing experience in healthcare or home care.
• Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, payment reconciliation, and collections.
• Familiarity with WellSky Personal Care or FundEasy preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and submit invoices and claims for home care services.
• Verify caregiver hours, service authorizations, reimbursement rates, and supporting billing documentation.
• Review EVV records to ensure billing accuracy.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denied claims, underpayments, and payment issues.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid invoices and claims.
• Assist with payment posting, account reconciliation, and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Ensure billing practices comply with payer requirements, agency policies, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate billing records and assist with internal audits.
• Collaborate with Staffing, Nursing, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare billing, accounts receivable, and collection reports for the Business Office Director.
• Maintain accurate billing information in WellSky Personal Care and other systems.
• Monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely submission of invoices and claims.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Communicate billing concerns to the Business Office Director.
